This course is designed for those interested in learning to DJ as a profession or as a hobby. Our lecturers have spent decades working in the industry and will offer you first-hand advice, tips and tricks on how to fulfil your potential. You’ll learn the fundamental skills of using state-of-the-art DJ equipment and tools such as Pioneer DJ’s Rekordbox. This course will equip you with the technical and creative concepts you’ll need to kickstart your future as a DJ and play live sets across the globe!

We've enhanced our exclusive 1-2-1 sessions in order to provide you with individual time to speak to your lecturers and share your projects so you can get advice and guidance on specific areas of your assignments. David Stone is one half of Drum n Bass act Gerra & Stone & his work has received regular plays across BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra & Kiss FM. His tracks regularly chart in Beatport top 10 . He's also a successful DJ & PB graduate.
Has worked for leading sound design agencies Replay Heaven and Sample Magic on numerous hit records. Released and produced under various guises and teaches music technology theory across the world.
Tom has worked in the music industry for over 15 years. From DJing in top clubs, including Ministry of Sound, Egg and Pacha, working at record labels or writing electronic music, he has always held a passion for music.
Nathaniel Morse was the winner of Redbull's first United States "3style" DJ battle in LA. He was awarded “Best DJ in LA” and then “Best DJ in America” by the Sun Times in 2014 & 2015 respectively.

Each module requires your attendance in one weekly masterclass which will be 2 hours long. The masterclasses take place between 7-9pm UK time and will be on the same day each week. The masterclass day will be confirmed a week before the start of each term, but all classes are recorded and archived, so you can watch them back whenever it suits you if you can't attend live. You will also be able to book five 1-2-1 sessions with your lecturer per module per term for additional support - these take place in weeks 2, 4, 6, 8 and 11 of your course.
Studying with Point Blank online is a completely unique experience and unlike any other online course. You are personally guided by a professional DJ and provided with regular opportunities to discuss your progress to get expert feedback on your skills:
Yes. The course caters for students who have little or no prior knowledge. Students with DJ experience can also greatly benefit from Point Blank's world renowned courses.
No. There are no academic requirements for this course. This course or programme is practical, and therefore aimed at those who wish to develop their skills to a professional standard.
Throughout your course you will be instructed and supported by our expert team of professional DJs. You will be able to contact them via the student forum, raise any issues that you may encounter on your course, and receive a timely response. All of the instructors are highly experienced in DJ-ing and/or have in depth knowledge of the music business and will be able to offer valuable advice and guidance. You will also be able to participate in a weekly online masterclass where you can raise specific questions related to the module you are currently taking.
